When your manufacturing process requires part identification while the metal is still hot, traditional marking methods won't work.  The MC2000 Hot Marker was developed to solve this issue and allow operators to mark metals up to 900 degrees Celsius.

Due to the requirements of high temperature applications, unique mechanics are necessary.  This modified version of the N-34 Series is surrounded by several protective mechanisms to impede hot air, sheilding the marking head in order to produce a quality mark.


Hot Marker System Features

  • Marks metals up to 900º C
  • Marking speed approximately 1 character/second
  • Stainless steel shell has a small window limited to the marking area, allowing only a small amount of heat to get into the shell
  • A mobile plate fixed to the cylinder covers this remaining area
  • A second stainless steel sheet protects the machine internals from heat and is cooled by water
  • An airflow impedes the hot air from getting to the machine internals by blowing cool air in the opposite direction
